SE WI Championship
Middle School XC Meet

(part of the XC Thrillogy Trail Series)

Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017
Silver Lake County Park, Silver Lake, WI

To highlight the Middle School Cross Country Programs across SE WI, we are introducing the first ever Championship style event for your athletes.  In the team events, you can have a maximum of seven runners, with the top five scoring.  You can have athletes move up a grade, but not down.  You do not need a complete team to run in the team races.  The open races will be considered a JV style of race, no team scores will be kept, but there will be official finishing results with awards.  Spikes will not be permitted.

Distance:  2.5 miles.
Timing & Registration:  Provided by Wisconsinrunner.

Awards:  team awards and individual awards.
The course:  a combination of dirt trails, open grass areas and partially crushed gravel trails with a few challenging hills.
The start and finish: will be on the lakefront of Silver Lake.

Cost per team per school:  $50.00 per team, with a maximum of $150 if you wish to enter three or four teams.
Cost per school for individual runners in the 5th-8th open races: $5.00 per athlete with a maximum of $50.00, with maximum number of open runners per school being 15 per race.
There is no cost/entry fee: for the Coaches and Parent’s Open Race.
We will be limiting the number of teams per race to 25 teams.
We will be limiting the number of 5th - 8th open runners to 175 per race.  If there are additional 5th - 8th runners beyond the 15 per team or total number of 175, they would be welcome to run in the Coaches - Parents event at no cost.
Contracts will be sent out to confirming teams, with additional information.
