The Kenosha Running Company Veterans Day Run is the perfect way to celebrate, remember and honor all of our Military Veterans, Active Duty, Reserves, Spouses, and Friends of the Military.
The Veterans Day Run will be taking place on the White River State Park Trail with the start and finish in downtown Lyons, WI.
The White River Trail is a rails-to-trails crushed limestone path on the former SOO railway and it will be an out-n-back. Turn around points will be clearly marked, the distances will be measured with a wheel, so they will be accurate. This trail is canopied by trees and provides the perfect place to reflect on the selfless service the military provides and possibly see some autumn colors.
This event is FREE for our Veterans, Active Duty, Reserves, Law Enforcement, and their spouses.

When signing up, please consider purchasing a flag that will line the start/finish area to honor or in memory of a military hero in your life. We would love to line the trail with flags.
There also will be an option to donate to the Kenosha Running Company's Red White and Blue Program. This program provides free or discounted race entries to active duty or retired military personnel, police, sheriff and their spouses to run or walk numerous events we host throughout the year. This unique program reflects our appreciation and ongoing commitment.

Once you are done with your run, continue the festivities by supporting one of the local Lyons' businesses for a bite or a pint that are steps away from the start/finish area. Swag will be available for purchase.
All of our trail & canicross events have a virtual aspect.
Kenosha Running Company is welcoming and encouraging to all those near and far that cannot attend our event in person, to join us in spirit and share the day with us. We will continue to offer all of our trail & canicross events virtually. Those that join us virtually are encouraged to share the highlights of their run, walk or hobble by emailing the story and pictures to us, sharing on our Facebook page, or tagging us #KenoshaRunningCompany and we will include them in our event recap email and in our monthly digital magazine. You will receive a bib number via email. Please join us regardless of your location and share in the trail - canicross kind of fun!
